Dr. Bekka has over 20 years experience in economics, strategic planning, and sustainability assessment for infrastructure projects. He has developed several economic and financial assessment frameworks for major infrastructure investment projects for US Department of Transport, US Department of Homeland Security, Alberta Energy, and Transport Canada.
Dr. Bekka has led sustainability assessment studies in cities like Phoenix Arizona, Austin Texas, Ottawa and Toronto in Canada.
Dr. Bekka has also served as advisor to the US Secretary of Transportation and Alberta Energy where he has assisted in developing strategies for economic development and sustainability. Dr. Bekka published and presented several articles in the transportation and energy fields in the U.S. and Europe.
Dr. Bekka received his Doctorate Degree in infrastructure economics and his Masters Degree in international trade from the University of Delaware and an MBA in operations management from Widener University in Pennsylvania.
